Compass Ministries is a Christian non-profit Organization dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. Join us in our mission to strengthen the church of Jesus Christ and to teach and preach His Word!
Our Vision
Compass Ministries is apostolic in nature. Which means our mission is two fold.
1. To build up & strengthen the church
2. To preach the Gospel to the lost.
How do we achieve this goal ?
We build up & strengthen churches by:
- teaching & preaching God's word in churches & Christian events
- mentoring & helping Christians to find their God-given callings and giftings
- conducting impartation services & worship events
- organizing & leading mission trips to communities & nations in order to activate Christians in Kingdom work
- distributing bibles, Christian literature and physical aid
We preach the Gospel to the lost by:
- conducting evangelistic outreaches & events
- taking mission teams to the nations
- distributing bibles, Christian literature and physical aid
Jonathan Frohms is the founder and president of Compass Ministries, known for his dynamic and real preachings. He is also the author of the book "Right Before Our Eyes". Ever since he gave his life to Jesus when he was nineteen years old, his heart has beat for the Church. Growing up in a Christian home, he knew a lot about Jesus but he didn't know Jesus. When he had a personal encounter with Him - his whole life changed, and for the first time, he wanted to live his life for God. On that day he received the call to ministry that still remains true today.
After serving in Africa on short term crusades for multiple years, he and his family moved to the US where he is the pastor of Prairie Faith Church in North Dakota. In 2024, Compass Ministries was born out of the call to strengthen the church, in the US and around the world. In 2025, Compass has become an official 501 (c)(3) and we are excited to see the hand of God move! Jon has preached the gospel in Europe, America, Africa and Central America and more countries are opening up as you read this...
The Board of Directors of Compass Ministries is comprised of members Mary Frohms (Jonathan's wife), Gary Wibe, Selmar Snieder, and Scott Boisvert. Each member has a proven testimony of Jesus Christ in their personal lives and is active in their individual churches. They have a heart for missions and seeing the power of God move in His church.
